Your solo game
Prism Roll stores maze progress, active runs and timers, earned coins, unlocked skins, selected worlds, daily and milestone reward history, and sound/haptic preferences on your device. The app uses this information to resume play and prevent duplicate rewards. Solo play does not require a publisher account, and this version does not upload solo saves to a publisher-operated game server.
Deleting the app removes its local saves; offloading the app keeps its data. Device backups may include saved app data according to your Apple settings. You can manage app storage and device backups in iOS Settings. Prism Roll does not provide its own cloud-save or account-transfer service.
Game Center
If you sign in to Apple's Game Center, Prism Roll sends achievement progress and completed-maze scores to Apple. Your Game Center profile and scores may be visible to other players according to your Game Center settings. The app keeps a local report queue associated with your game-specific player identifier so saved progress can sync after a connection failure. Your first Game Center account on this installation can receive your existing local progress; switching accounts keeps their new earned progress separate.
The Apple Games app can open Classic, Time Rush, or the daily maze. Game Center does not back up or restore your maze saves, coins, or collection. You can continue playing solo while signed out and manage Game Center sign-in, your profile, and sharing through iOS Settings. Game Center identifiers and profile names are not sent to Google Analytics or our crash-reporting services.
See Game Center & Privacy for Apple’s privacy information.
Optional usage analytics
If you choose to share usage data, Prism Roll uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand sessions, returning players, screens, modes, level outcomes, hints, rewards, collection choices, purchase activity, and which campaigns bring people to the app. In app versions supporting it, this may include Apple Ads attribution information and verified purchase information such as product, value, currency, and transaction-derived fields. Analytics also measures ad impressions and associated revenue when available. Analytics uses a random app-instance identifier and app/device information; Google may derive approximate location from network information. We do not send your name, email, Game Center identity, saved maze layout, or payment-card details. Analytics advertising-identifier and vendor-identifier collection are disabled, and analytics advertising consent remains denied. See Google's Analytics data disclosure.
Analytics starts only after you choose Share usage data. You can decline and keep playing, or change Share usage analytics in Settings. Turning it off stops future analytics collection and resets the Google Analytics app-instance identifier on this device; it does not delete reports already received by Google. In versions with verified purchase reporting, new purchase reports are limited to purchases made during your current participation period; restoring an older purchase does not report new revenue. A local record prevents the app from reporting a handled transaction again. This choice is separate from advertising privacy choices.
Optional install attribution
In versions supporting it, Prism Roll uses AppsFlyer to measure installations, app sessions, and which campaigns help people find the app. With your permission, AppsFlyer receives install and session information, available campaign attribution, an AppsFlyer installation identifier, and app, device, and network information such as app version, device model, operating system, language, and IP address. Network information can provide approximate location. AppsFlyer may also process launch-performance information for fraud checks.
This integration uses AppsFlyer’s Strict SDK without advertising-identifier collection (IDFA), and we disable vendor-identifier collection (IDFV) and sharing with advertising partners. AppsFlyer still processes the information described above. We do not provide AppsFlyer with your name, email, Game Center identity, a publisher-issued user identifier, purchase details, ad revenue, or shared-maze contents and challenge links.
AppsFlyer reporting requires both Share usage analytics and Share install attribution to be on. On a first launch that offers this feature, the explanation names Google Analytics and AppsFlyer; choosing Share usage data enables both choices. An earlier choice to use Google Analytics does not enable AppsFlyer: existing players must enable Share install attribution separately in Settings. You can decline and keep playing.
Turning either choice off tells the AppsFlyer SDK to stop reporting, and Prism Roll stops requesting new install and session reports. It cannot recall requests already in progress, delete reports already received, or reset AppsFlyer’s installation identifier. This differs from the Google Analytics identifier reset described above. To ask about or request access to or deletion of this information, contact privacy@thoughtahead.com. See the AppsFlyer Services Privacy Policy for its processing, retention, and privacy-request information.
Optional crash reports
Starting with version 1.1.2 build 18, if you turn on Share saved and future crash reports in Settings, Prism Roll sends crash stacks and selected save or purchase-delivery errors to our self-hosted GlitchTip service. Reports contain app and device versions and fixed operation and error categories. We remove exception messages, request details, installation identifiers, and analytics breadcrumbs. Reports do not include your name, email, Game Center identity, saved maze, receipt, or transaction identifier.
Sharing is off by default and separate from usage analytics and advertising choices. The crash reporter starts only after you opt in. Turning sharing off stops new custom error recording and future report authorization; it cannot recall reports already authorized or sent. A later opt-in may send locally saved reports. Reports received by our GlitchTip service are retained for up to 30 days. An earlier Firebase Crashlytics choice does not enable this service, and saved Firebase reports are not migrated.
Older versions use Firebase Crashlytics under their existing crash-sharing settings. Those reports can include a Crashlytics installation identifier and, when usage analytics is also enabled, analytics breadcrumbs. See Firebase Crashlytics data disclosure for those versions.
Ads and privacy choices
When advertising is enabled, Prism Roll uses Google Mobile Ads to show between-level ads and optional reward videos. Google's User Messaging Platform manages applicable advertising privacy choices. The app checks the platform's permission to request ads before loading them. When required, you can reopen the choices through Settings → Manage ad privacy.
Google states that its advertising SDK may process IP addresses and approximate location, device or app identifiers, ad views and interactions, crash information, and performance data for advertising, analytics, and service improvement. The exact processing depends on the advertising configuration and applicable choices. See Google's SDK data disclosure and Google's Privacy Policy.
Prism Roll requests non-personalized Google ads, disables Google’s publisher first-party ID, and enables restricted data processing. These settings limit advertising personalization; the services still process the information described above to deliver and measure ads and operate the service.
Reward videos are optional. You can continue solo gameplay when ads are unavailable. No Ads removes between-level advertisements; videos for rewards remain available when you choose them.
App Store purchases
Apple processes payments for No Ads and coin packs through the App Store. Prism Roll reads verified StoreKit transactions to deliver purchases. The app does not receive your payment-card number.
No Ads can be restored through Settings and responds to entitlement revocation. Coin balances and delivered transaction identifiers are saved together on this device to prevent duplicate credits. Finished coin purchases cannot be restored after deleting the app or transferred to another device through Prism Roll. Purchases do not create a Prism Roll account or restore local game progress. See Apple's App Store privacy information.
Support requests and this website
If you email info@thoughtahead.com or privacy@thoughtahead.com, your address, message, and any attachments are shared with the recipient to address your request. Include only the details you want to share. You can use the privacy address to ask about a support conversation or request its deletion.
The support, privacy, and shared-challenge pages do not load website analytics. The support and privacy pages contain no scripts, advertising code, or contact forms. Provider links take you to websites governed by their own privacy policies.
Optional website analytics
The Prism Roll marketing page uses Google Analytics only after you select Allow analytics. It measures page visits and App Store button clicks, including the button location and reviewed campaign labels. It uses a browser identifier stored in first-party analytics cookies, with a maximum lifetime of 90 days, and browser and device information; Google may derive approximate location from network information. We send a fixed page address without query parameters and do not send the referring page address, private challenge contents, or arbitrary URL text. Advertising storage, advertising personalization, Google signals, and cross-domain identity linking are disabled.
You can choose No analytics and keep using every website feature. Your choice is saved in this browser’s local storage. Use Website analytics in the marketing page’s footer to change it. Turning analytics off disables further measurement, removes this website’s analytics cookies, and reloads the page to remove the loaded analytics script. It cannot recall requests already sent or delete information Google has received. Clearing browser data also clears the saved choice. This website choice is separate from the app’s analytics and ad-privacy settings.
A website click is not an app installation. Website and app activity are not joined using a shared user identifier. Approved Apple campaign tokens can still be included in App Store links whether or not you allow website analytics; Apple’s campaign reporting is separate from Google Analytics. See Google’s Analytics data disclosure and Google’s Privacy Policy.
Your choices and questions
You can play without a Prism Roll account, choose whether to watch reward videos, adjust available ad-privacy choices, and manage Apple's services through your device and Apple Account settings. To ask about information held by the publisher, contact privacy@thoughtahead.com.
Apple, Google, and AppsFlyer describe retention, deletion, and available privacy controls in the policies linked above. Removing Prism Roll does not delete records those services maintain. Requests concerning their services can be directed through those resources.
The app’s privacy information is also available offline in Prism Roll → Settings → Privacy policy. We update this policy and its date when the app or website’s data practices change.
